Day-Wise Itinerary

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Take time to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Enjoy a guided cultural tour of Kathmandu Valley, exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Start early in the morning and transfer to Kathmandu’s domestic airport with your guide. Enjoy a scenic 35-minute flight to Lukla, taking in spectacular Himalayan views. Upon arrival at Tenzing-Hillary Airport, meet your porter who will carry your luggage. Begin your trek with an easy walk past a ceremonial Kani gatehouse, descending toward Kyangma village, home to a large gompa (monastery) and school. Continue through Cheplung village, passing a community forest along the Dudh Koshi River. Cross a suspension bridge, climb the ridge to Ghat, and pass Mani walls, Chortens, and prayer wheels before reaching Phakding. Overnight at a mountain lodge. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Take a rest day to acclimatize at Namche Bazaar, the vibrant hub of the Khumbu region. Explore its cafés, restaurants, souvenir shops, and trekking gear stores. Optional hikes include visits to Hillary School, nearby Sherpa settlements, Syangboche Airport, and yak farms. For stunning views of Mount Everest, hike to the Everest View Hotel and enjoy the panoramic Himalayan scenery. This day allows your body to adjust to higher altitudes while soaking in the culture and beauty of the region. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Leave Namche and trek toward Tengboche, navigating a trail of ups and downs through lush forests. The trek can be challenging, but the rewarding views of the Himalayas make it worthwhile. Along the way, you may spot musk deer, pheasants, and Himalayan Thars. Descend briefly to Phunki Thenga Village, then ascend continuously to reach Tengboche, a picturesque area offering stunning panoramas of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit the magnificent Tengboche Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at Deboche.
After breakfast, begin the trek from Tengboche to Dingboche. Along the way, pass numerous Chortens, mani walls, and small villages, including Pangboche, which offers stunning views of Mount Ama Dablam. As you gain altitude, notice the stone-walled fields protecting crops in this harsh environment, where locals grow barley, buckwheat, and potatoes. Overnight stay at Hotel Good Luck in Dingboche.
Take a rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the higher altitude. To stay active, hike up the ridge above Dingboche for spectacular panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. This day helps your body adjust to the thin air while enjoying the breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Overnight stay in Dingboche.
Begin the trek from Dingboche along a short uphill trail near the ridge above Pheriche Village. Continue alongside the Khumbu Glacier as you ascend toward the Thukla Hills, where memorials honor climbers who lost their lives in the region. From there, continue trekking to reach Lobuche, your destination for the day. Overnight stay in Lobuche.
Today is a remarkable day as you trek to Everest Base Camp. Start by following the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Gorak Shep, a village surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks. Leave your belongings at Gorak Shep and continue the hike to EBC, the closest point to the world’s highest mountain. Enjoy the breathtaking views, take photos, and reflect on your achievements. On the return to Gorak Shep, witness the majestic Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier on Earth. Overnight stay in Gorak Shep.
Wake early at Gorak Shep and hike to Kala Patthar to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest and surrounding peaks—a truly awe-inspiring experience. After enjoying the views and taking photos, return to Gorak Shep for breakfast. Rest briefly before continuing your trek to Pheriche, your destination for the day. Overnight stay in Pheriche.
After breakfast in Pheriche, begin your descent toward Tengboche. The trail passes through rhododendron forests, crosses the Imja Khola bridge, and winds through juniper forests before reaching Tengboche. Overnight stay in Tengboche.
After an early breakfast at Tengboche, begin the trek back to Namche Bazaar. Pass through forests inhabited by high-altitude wildlife such as pheasants, musk deer, and mountain goats. Spot prayer flags, chortens, and enjoy views of the backside of Lhotse and Mount Everest along the way. Upon arrival in Namche Bazaar, check into your lodge and rest. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Today’s trek is a shorter, scenic walk to Phakding. Follow the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges along the way. Pass through forests and small villages before reaching Phakding. Overnight stay in Phakding.
On the final day of trekking, follow the Dudh Koshi valley with mostly gentle uphill sections up to Kusum Stream. Before reaching Lukla, the trail steeply ascends toward Toktok, offering spectacular panoramic views. Continue onward to Lukla, marking the end of the trek. Overnight stay in Lukla.
After breakfast, conclude your trek with a flight from Lukla. During peak season (March–May, September–November), take a 20-minute flight to Manthali Airport, followed by a drive to Kathmandu. In other months (December–February, June–August), enjoy a direct 40-minute flight back to Kathmandu. This marks the end of your trek.
